Dispatch of the final part of the marine diesel generator sets for Zvyozdochka, JSC a Shiprepairing center
ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA, JSC has accomplished final shipment of the marine diesel generator sets. The client is a joint stock company Zvyozdochka, a Shiprepairing center
The project in question is ordered by the Russian Ministry of Defense. In the framework of the project, the following work was done: production, testing, and supply of the automated diesel generators manufactured on the basis of a Russian engine which is used for the maritime transport weapons “Academic Makeev” (founded in 2015). The strengthened ice class ship is intended for loading, unloading and sea transportation of the armament samples.
The diesel generators can be used both as the main energy sources on the vessels with an electric propulsion system and as supplementary diesel generators for the ships’ provision of electricity needs. The production of diesel generators was based on a Russian engine which was manufactured by the “Kolomenskiy plant”, OJSC. The equipment has got certificates of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping which fall into the AUT 1 automatization registry class. By optimizing combustion process and improving pressurization, the amount of nitrogen oxide emissions of the ship diesel generator was reduced and does not exceed 9 g/kWh, which meets the requirements of IMO Tier 2.
The equipment consists of four automated ship diesel generator sets with a capacity of 1600 kW/2000 kVA for 400 V onboard network voltage and two automated ship diesel generators with a capacity of 1000 kW/ 1250kVA for 400V onboard network voltage.
According to Grigory Kurkchan, General Director of ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA, JSC, primary task for the industry nowadays is to speed up the development and production of the modern energy equipment. “By implementing its projects, ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA faces all the challenges and successfully deals with them. This is particularly true for the production of the marine industry equipment in the framework of the import substitution policy”, highlights Kurkchan.
