ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC – 10 Years in the Power Market

February 7, 2011, Petersburg power engineering company ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC turns 10 years old. The day of the company foundation is the day of signing the first contract for supply of its main products. In terms of recent history, 10 years is quite an impressive period, and ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC celebrates its first decade with very respectable end-of-the-year figures.

One of the largest projects implemented by ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC in this sector is design, manufacture, delivery and construction of a modular gas-piston thermal power plant operating on coalmine methane; the plant was designed for standalone heat and power supply of the Severnaya mine. The CPP construction for the Severnaya mine is a cutting-edge project for the country’s coal mining industry.

Regarding spare part sales and power plant operation, the company also demonstrates strong performance –over 10% growth. A significant event of 2010 for ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC was receiving a license for training, which enabled the company to sign a number of major contracts for customer personnel training and achieve unprecedented growth of 250% in sales of educational services.
