Start-up and Servicing Department (SSD) of ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC offers the following:
- assembling, contract supervision and startup operations on the customer’s site;

technical inspection and auditing of power facilities, warranty and post-warranty maintenance and repair of power plants;

technical support of the customer’s site operation throughout the initial stage of power plant operation and integral maintenance and operation of the customer’s power plants by SSD personnel;

operating staff training;
- on-site upgrading and updating of power equipment.
SSD is staffed by qualified engineering personnel trained and certified by a number of leading foreign companies: Cummins Inc. (Great Britain), Thomson Technology (Canada), Basler, SDMO (France), MTU (Germany), MWM (Germany), Wartsila (Finland), Waukesha (USA); and it is equipped by up-to-date diagnostic devices, software and tools.
Regional Service Centers
Another important factor contributing to high-level services is an advanced network of regional ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA service centers. Today it has offices in Surgut, Nadym, Salekhard, Usinsk, Yakutsk, Khabarovsk, and Minsk. Through those offices, the company efficiently fulfills customers’ enquiries, performs consignment logistics control, as well as organizational and technical support in power facility construction in the respective regions.

ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC also supplies original Cummins spare parts to ensure reliable operation of the delivered power equipment. Training Center
Another service offered by ZVEZDA-ENERGETIKA OJSC is professional training of the customer’s operating staff in the company’s own training center in Saint Petersburg. The main training subjects are:
- structure and principles of operation of diesel, gas-piston and gas-turbine power plants using engines of different manufacturers;

organization and procedure of technical diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, debugging and operation of diesel, gas-piston and gas-turbine power plants of domestic and foreign manufacture.
